Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario Melissa has cultivated a lifelong passion for the arts.

In 2008, she appeared on the Emmy award- winning real estate show, Open House LA, a broadband video network by NBC Universal's Local Media broadband video network. Allowing her to explore multi-million dollar homes in California, contributing her insights to the show. For two years, Melissa navigated between Canada and the United States as an independent blogger. Her daily blog covered a diverse range of topics, including Celebrity News, Beauty Tips and Tricks, sneak peek Fashion Finds and Trends, and insights into Hollywood Hotspots, garnering a global and international readership. The blog quickly rose to prominence, earning a place among TMZ's top-followed blogs.

Melissa's journey also encompasses a successful 10-year career as a model, featuring in local advertisements and magazine publications. Represented by prestigious agencies such as MIM in Ottawa, FORD in Toronto, and MMG Toronto, she secured campaigns with renowned international clients, including Walgreens Beauty, Trius Winery, Appleton Rum, LCBO, and Aqua Fresh toothpaste, among others.

With a background steeped in both the modeling and cosmetic industry, Melissa has worked with top makeup companies. Extending into also serving as a personal shopper and stylist at the esteemed luxury retailer Holt Renfrew. Her professional repertoire extends further into sales and marketing with local builders and developers.

Currently based in Toronto, Melissa is actively engaged with various brands and services. Her focus lies in creating compelling content and fostering relationships with key industry partners, showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence in every endeavor.
